Day one of round six on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series men’s circuit in Vancouver, Canada, threw up some great rugby on Saturday.

In the end, Fiji, New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina won their pools to progress to the Cup quarter-finals at BC Place along with runners-up England, Samoa, Australia and France.

Tokyo Olympics bronze medal Team Fiji women’s head coach Saiasi Fuli says the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series opening in Dubai tomorrow was an opportunity to back up the record feat in Tokyo.

“I know there has been a lot of expectation on them and this is an opportunity for them to back up what they have done in Tokyo,” Fuli said today in a Fiji Rugby Union podcast.
