England’s Manu Tuilagi ruled out of Wales match because of injury

Centre Manu Tuilagi will miss England’s Six Nations match against Wales at Twickenham on Sunday morning (FT) after suffering a hamstring injury.

The 30-year-old was set to make his first appearance of this year’s Championship after recovering from a similar injury.

Defence coach Gethin Jenkins hopes Wales will make a point against Fiji ahead of the 2023 World Cup when the sides meet in Cardiff on Sunday.

The two teams are again in the same pool in France and Sunday is the last time they are scheduled to meet before the tournament starts.
